Every GiG Economy Worker, including students, starts by reserving a unique handle called GiG Worker Code. Basically, it's your address on the platform for tips and payments, your pseudonym.

Relay Tink.you as a contact

Your customers and clients start a WhatsApp conversation with Tink.you and a local number, specify your GiG Worker Code or handle, the tip amount they want, and receive a payment link.

Collect your new digital money

As the middle man, Tink.you get the tip money before one of those two scenarios: the funds are sent back to the GiG Worker immediately, or are gathered until withdrawal in the dashboard.

Your code has been temporarily paused and is not accepting client tips.

The initiative can come from you the code owner, or from an administrator. No limitation on the pause duration, it's up to you.

This is the status that all codes should be in. The normal state to maintain as much time as possible, ideally. Tips and money coming in.
